The Red-belted Clearwing (Synanthedon myopaeformis) is a moth of the family Sesiidae. It is found in Europe, the Near East and North Africa.
The wingspan is 18-26 mm. The length of the forewings is 9-11 mm. The moth flies from May to August depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Apple, but also Wild Cherry, Pear and Crataegus.
